This is an example of what I was talking about earlier. Seven panels, a running dialog and humor from panel one all the way through. This is a classic comic strip of the highest caliber. They just don’t make them like this any more.
Cartoons trips in days of yore were also much larger than they are today.
Readers had longer attention spans in days gone bye.

When shaking hands with this guy, count de fingers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jeff’s dialogue today makes me think that Bud Fisher was a fan of Groucho Marx.
