If everyone wears a clean mask and washes their hands, we can end this. We should have ended it months ago, but too many people think they are superior and don’t have to waste their time protecting others.
I agree that some people don’t take it as seriously and somehow feel impervious to catching it or passing it on to others even if they don’t know they’re carrying the virus. I don’t know about having ended it sooner though. As COLCAM said the researchers may be finding out more details about it, but a definitive cure has yet to be found. I don’t wear a mask when I’m just outside around the place I live because there aren’t any other people normally within range, but I’ll continue to wear a mask and wash my hands when shopping until a definitive cure is found.
I am with katina.cooper on this one. If other people don’t like it they can buy you something they will like. Otherwise they can close their eyes or look the other way.
I figure “Better safe than sorry” when it comes to wearing a mask—which I do whenever I’m around people. I’d rather wear one and not need it than not wear one and need it.
On the plus side, Cathy’s mask here makes me think of watermelon …

If people don’t like the way you look, they can buy you something else to wear.
