I must have the pregame jitters- I feel all queasy inside. So do I. Relax. I'll be fine once I get my first error out of the way. Dad, Rover's pregame jittering on the car floor.
Back in the golden age of second-hand smoke, I would direct air vents onto me to keep from making like Rover. Dogs like to hang their heads out of car windows for the same reason. Unfortunately, the outside air is more polluted than the inside is now.
hippogriff, dogs hand their heads out of car windows because they have about 100,000,000 times the olfactory sense that we have, and very few odors are actually unpleasant to them – it’s like a smellgasm.

How much is pre-game jitters and how much is not going before you got in the car, Rover?

I hope you don’t pre-game jitter in your pants.

Rover, you’re supposed to arf, not barf!

Road trips were SO much more fun in the 60s – no seatbelts! If you got restless, you just climbed into the back of the station wagon to play.

Well, I can vividly remember a road trip not too long ago that was up a very winding mountain road. Lots of back and forth turns over and over again.
Oops, Pull over NOW or the inside of the car is going to be pretty messy.
He did and I barfed out the door. Barely made it though. It was close.
I can sympathise with Rover.

Grog, Rover is spewing from the front end, not the aft.
