Sometimes it’s about what you do, and not what you say.

Sometimes, the effort is what counts. Rabbit is at least trying to learn ASL so he can communicate with Fox on Fox’s terms, rather than making Fox do all the work. Even if he makes some “typos”, it’s still the fact that he’s trying that matters.

Careful, rabbit. Foxies love to eat rabbits!

Just what he always wanted. His very own little bunny rabbit. He’s going to call him George. And he’s going to hug him, oh he already has, and pet him and pat him and squeeze him and…

And speaking of foxies, you may have heard of the Bengal Tigers, but have you heard of the Bengal Fox? Like Bengal Tiger, it’s also a misnomer because like the tigers, these foxes are also found all across the Indian subcontinent. Indian fox would be a proper name for these.

Rabbit is so brave to try to learn a new language and use it, however imperfectly. Deaf Fox certainly appreciates it.

Rabbits are for the most part mute, although they have been known to scream. It’s fitting that this rabbit has learned sign language for a deaf fox. Even imperfect sign language deserves a hug.

So many trusting people out there! I’m not one of them. I AM curious what animal the late Pinky was, though!
