It’s unpleasant for him because he doesn’t properly keep his teeth clean. You always should floss and brush before seeing your dentist.

Just take off your Chucks. That’ll make things worse.

And I’m sure the dental hygienist who cleans your teeth before the exam will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

I once heard that vacuuming while owning a dog was like brushing your teeth while eating Oreos.
