Well… a little less than two years ago in Batman Damned, Bruce became the first DC superhero to be depicted fully and frontally nude… in a comic published by DC.
Batman’s other sidekick, so to speak.
The issue sold out immediately. Bananza?
Mint copies, CGC-graded and enclosed in their top acrylic slab cases, are offered on eBay for a thousand dollars, plus or minus.
The controversy was so intense that reprints of the issue have added concealing shadow to the images. They have announced that all future printings will be likewise “muted.”
While apparently a true story this sounds like a something from THE ONION. According to this article the banana had shriveled up into an almost “cardboard material”.
I’ve been worrying about the snacks I left in my desk four months ago. Have the custodians done anything, or will I return to a nightmare? I’d go check on it now, but my employer seems to have higher standards of what constitutes a need to go in.

There were several issues of Batman or Detective Comics revolving around the Caped Crusader time traveling back to visit Mad Anthony. Good times.

I would of thought her co-workers would have become aware of her banana long before 9 weeks had passed.
