While apparently a true story this sounds like a something from THE ONION. According to this article the banana had shriveled up into an almost “cardboard material”.

There were several issues of Batman or Detective Comics revolving around the Caped Crusader time traveling back to visit Mad Anthony. Good times.

I’ve been worrying about the snacks I left in my desk four months ago. Have the custodians done anything, or will I return to a nightmare? I’d go check on it now, but my employer seems to have higher standards of what constitutes a need to go in.

I would of thought her co-workers would have become aware of her banana long before 9 weeks had passed.

And her boss was P.O.’d when her found a tree growing out of her desk drawer…
