Has Mary Worth heard yet? She’ll tell everyone, along with a bit of her advice.

Surprised Duffy didn’t work in a reference to “Dick” Tracy.

@henebry - how do you think Dagwood knew to come home early?

Who told Dagwood ? It wasn’t Cookie, Alexander, or Mr. Dithers. It was Mr. Beasley The Postman. They know everything…

^ Maybe it was someone at “Pearls Before Swine”; they know everyone’s business, and Rat just loves to stir up trouble.

I think cartoonists are getting desperate for ideas. I don’t mind if they are paying tribute to other strips, but using them in place of their own originality or for ridicule, is demeaning to the other strip and basically themselves.

Nice CBRSARAH I hadn’t even thought it, much less said it. I thought it was a new fad that would pass.

@Vegas Viper – It could not have been Mr. Beasley. He was still in the front yard picking up mail from when Dagwood left for work.
