Depending on the size, you can use tooth paste to fill it in. Just make sure it is the same color. None of that stuff with the Green swirl.

Just do what my brother did, put a poster over it and keep it there till someone notices. Like when you’re at college and your mom cleans out your room.

See which of his things fits the hole. Bonus points if it’s something that was “recently damaged.”

If this were me I’d be inclined to ask, “what dumb thing did you do this time?”

Well bad luck has earned you the job of repairing it.

Tip o’ the Hat today goes to Ken, and Shay, and every other kid I know that smacked a hole in the drywall! (Extra props to Ken for knowing how to patch it.) You guys never knew you’d make it into the ‘funny papers’ didja?

There was a plaque on the hallway wall in the house where I grew up that hung much lower than it should have

It covered the patch where I had put my fist through the wall arguing with my Dad when I was about 12 or 13

The plaque said “Worlds Best Dad” and I made it in shop class and gave it to him as an apology for Fathers Day

In my house, you’d be give the wall spackle and then the paint to paint it later. My father was NOT one to fix a thing that my sister broke or ruined as he knew she did it on purpose most times. Now if I broke something in my room I fixed it. However I did run us screaming one morning for my dad as I had black carpenters ants over running my bedroom closet I had already removed my clothes outside on a old sheet to be washed and hung outside and did the same with my shoes and boxes I had upon my shelf. I went and got the vacuum and tried to suck up as many as a could. However, my father went and got the super bug cleaner and sprayed and had to leave the room for a good 4 hours and then we went back and vacuumed and and spackled the walls and baseboards and painted inside too. That night we brought the stuff back inside and after washing it all I hung it back up. The stuff that had to be dry cleaned my dad took with him to work the next day and came back with it that evening.
