    Past time, but who’s counting?

Besides the oppressed, and they don’t count.

In small ways, some restitution has been underway for a while. U.S. and Canadian museums have restored artifacts, including works of art and historical relics, to their “natural habitats.” Within the USA, human “archaeological specimens” and other remains have been returned to their Native people, often for burial in sacred ground.

Admittedly small, but it’s good to see any movement at all on these matters.

It’s called survival of the strongest. Whether you like it or not, that is the way the universe works.

So, topple the obelisk and send it back to Egypt! What are they waiting for?

“History’s powers” are all dead, so they won’t be admitting to anything.

There is a tiny bit more to the story. St. Peter was crucified in front of that obelisk.

Every civilization that ever was was built on slavery, theft, and good old bloodshed. And it not only continues today, but will for the foreseeable future. The human race itself has been formed on the blood of others Surprise! We are not mostly nice people…
