When was this strip originally published (if it was a leap year)? I cannot make out (no pun intended on what the couple did here) the copyright between the second and third panels.
Peter and Denise’s love for each other is one of the best things about this strip. I may be wrong but I don’t think they ever fought or had any drama whatsoever. Just a strong steady true love and respect. It does happen sometimes.
Today is my wife’s and I anniversary – due to the pandemic we can’t do what we normally do: go to the minor league baseball game, have a hot dog and a beer, share a pretzel watch the kids play baseball and stay for the fireworks.
So we agreed, we’ll go out for ice cream.
That’s what I like about the woman: she’s a cheap date.
