I can let summer go, it was 116 in Vegas today…

I don’t care what the thermometer says, it feels like March 170th.

If she stayed, the Australians would be very disappointed.

There is wonderful quirky British show called Mulberry,that aired in 1992, 1993 starring Geraldine McEwan, that has a connection to this strip.

Recommend it if you can find it!

I am a fan of each season, usually when it is here.

I saw Mulberry and loved every episode. I found it on YouTube. Who could have known that Death brought life to an old lady!

Those big brown puppy eyes do it every time.

What could possibly go wrong?

Right now, does it matter WHAT season it is?

If everyone lived their lives like a lab, it would be a better world.

Louie loves summer and especially the bbq burgers.

I am already missing the length of a summer’s day but it will be nice to be able to walk out of the house without instantly breaking into a sweat and nearly passing out.

We’ve had the longest string of days around 90 or above that I ever remember with almost no rain

The mountains nearby are burning and the air quality is awful

I am more than ready for fall

Usually, the muses appear as Months. This time, one appears as a Season. Their respective Unions must’ve worked out a deal.

Five more weeks according to the calendar.

Here it is, the middle of August, and Austin (40 miles North of here) has had at least 55 days 100 or higher, with the calendar holding the promise of more. Probably just as many 100 + days here in New Braunfels, even if I can’t find the exact number. So if Summer wants to leave, it can’t be any too soon for me. Paul Simon’s song “April Come She Will” holds far more hope for cold and chilly Autumn days right after “August, Die She Must” than we experience in this part of the country.

I’d be happy to let summer and spring share some time. I might even throw in some autumn. Winter will not receive my invitation, though … ha.
