I’m retired and living next to the Beach in Puerto Rico. Your life will never be perfect; I still find plenty of stuff to bitch about. One thing is litter; can’t stand it. I clean up a mile or so stretch of road that runs from my house to the main road. I have also hooked up with a group here that cleans the local beaches. The fact that people will casually throw stuff out their windows blows my mind.
I’ve never been to one and no intention of starting now. I might remember a few people (if they happened to attend) and most I’m quite happy to forget.When I hear someone say that high school was the happiest time of their lives I certainly don’t envy them.

I just told them the truth about trying to make from day to day. It made them feel good about themselves until I mentioned that I was happy.
