30 feet from mom’s watchful eye. We did the same! Got a tent from a S&H green stamp catalog. What a piece of junk! No matter, It was new, exciting and we had fun with our flashlights and Bassett Hound.

I wonder what Rover thinks of “The Hound of the Baskervilles” or “Cujo”? Actually, “Cujo” wouldn’t have been written at the time this strip is set.
