My older brother took me to his first grade show-and-tell when I was three. Hid me in a cupboard in the back of the room and brought me out when it was time.
Snoopy would have been the coolest thing to bring to show and tell. How many dogs can play hockey, baseball and not to mention having regular “dogfights” with the Red Barron…..
Snoopy is acting like Bugs Bunny in this one cartoon. A doctor brought him into a hospital’s operating theatre. Bugs thought he was there to do a show; the doctor was going to put Bugs’s brain into a chicken. Snoopy isn’t in that bad a situation. Though by the end, Sally may WANT to trade him for a chicken.

Snoopy also became the mascot of an insurance company, so consider yourself lucky, Sally.
