(Rex Morgan) Berna should have told Dex that the lottery ticket was “in a safe place” - and let it go at that. It would have been the truth without giving specific information. Now Tony, Holly, and Riley will probably be breaking into Rex’s office (and safe).
(Judge Parker) Back around March 10, Connie offered Angel her baseball card:
Angel: You act as if I have something to say about this! I’m a driver….remember?
Connie: Larry Cheatham listens to you, Angel…your opinion matters!
Connie: Make him believe I can do this (the PR for the book)…and we’ll both be heroes! You can also have my 1957 Topps Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra baseball card!
As I recall, it turned out Cheatham was already on board to hire Connie, so offering the Angel the baseball card was an unnecessary gesture. Hence Connie’s glare in panel 2 today.
(Apt. 3-G) Tommie went to Dan’s for breakfast and it’s now time for dinner (what happened to lunch?).
(Mary Worth) Mary and Wilbur continue to chat and give us background on Drew’s past love life.
(Mark Trail) I wonder where “here” is?
(FoxTrot) Ahora!=Now! But that’s about all I get. The English version says ”root beer stains” (panel 4), but the Spanish version doesn’t seem to be translated as “root beer.” ??
