I usually don’t forget my list. 1) I staple it around my purse strap or 2) wrap it around my cell phone or 3) tape it to my steering wheel if the note happens to be about getting gas.
At work, it generally gets taped to the computer or calculator. Of course, none of these methods guarantees I”LL DO WHAT’S ON THE LIST, just gurantees I don’t forget the list! LOL!
To say nothing of the challenge of sitting down to add something to the list (which you have just found after extensive searching) and having absolutely no idea what it was you were just thinking about that was of critical importance to get done tomorrow.
RedTadpole Just did that last night. Was in the laundry room and thought of something. When I went upstairs to make a note of it, I forgot what it was! Still can’t remember!
Being a stay-at-home wife and mom, I’m either in blue jeans or shorts (depending on what time of the year it is, of course). All of them have pockets so that’s where I carry my list … that’s the easy part. The hard part is remembering to add something to the list when I need to. If I put it off instead of doing it as soon as I think about it, then I very rarely ever remember to do it later.
I don’t care what the news programs say, I always go grocery shopping HUNGRY! It’s more fun to go down each aisle and them reverse the procedure and go back up the aisles.

In my version, you forget you even MADE a list, until you get to the store. “I made a mental note but then lost my mind.”

I just have a small table near the front door, and every time I set down anything related to leaving the house, that’s where I put it.
Too bad it doesn’t help me keep track of my books…

I can relate all too well–both to this quote and to the comic!
