Gil wants to make sure the kids aren’t playing at his favorite dive, where he plans to get royally drunk and hit on Candi, the new waitress, to see if those are real or not.
It’s amazing that Gil’s double standard has gone this far. How come another player hasn’t come to this poor excuse for a coach and said he has to work after school to support the family- or go to college next year- or whatever? “Don’t worry coach- I can make all the games…” The school board’s decision will be a blessing for Gil- as he relearns the priorities of family first and sticking with the team rules… Oh I forgot- he just has a wife now…

‘Steet level?”–this plot is hard enough to follow anyway, without typos.

Hah! Well done Cliff1911. Derek must have the strength of Sampson. A haircut or trim might nearly be fatal.

The bar is named after Barney “Steet” Level, who used to play the spoons in Bob Willis’ Texas Swing orchestra.
