Standard procedure for today’s reporters, take an interview and then twist it to whatever your agenda is. Only thing missing is their fine editing.
I was once interviewed by the local paper for a news article, the reporter did a cut a paste job on the interview and the quote he attributed to me was nothing but gibberish.
