I use wrist watches and I prefer mechanical watches, but when visiting new places I prefer to use a smart watch with stand alone GPS and bread crumb trail (Garmin, Suunto); this way I can mark my way back to the hotel or whatever place I need to trace back. or remember the way to a good place to eat, etc
In the RV, driving in South Georgia, I followed the GPS directions. It took me on back roads and eventually on a dirt road. Only later did I find out it was set on walking and the shortest way. That was changed quickly
Google Maps has our street wrong, so everybody using google-based GPS can’t find our place. This only affects 15 houses, so they aren’t the least bit concerned about correcting it. BTW, we are in a large city, not out in the boondocks.

Yeah, especially when it has you “walk” down a one-way street.

Wouldn’t you love being on a 3 hour road trip with this clown?

There is no checking, so it will become the preferred path since it is averaging a faster walk than drive.
