Edouarde didn’t copy his models directly into stone, but instead used them as a reference as he carved.Clara hated being treated as a dictionary.

If that’s her arm, he’s turning her into a slumped over, pot-bellied, knuckle-dragger.

Why is the sculptor wearing a suit as he works? The stone doesn’t care, and it just makes the model feel under dressed
