He’s telling the truth. I remember those times we’ll. My first date with my future husband was at the drive-in. We took our own pizza. That would have been cool if you could have pumped popcorn into your car instead of standing in line at the concession stand, which sometimes had really long lines and you missed part of the movie.
The could have piped the sound in like on those old steamboats. Then they could have blown popcorn down the tubes during intermission. I guess they would have to deliver cola through a sprinkler system. Now, that’s my idea of a theater I’d drive 30 miles to visit. :)
