Careful Earl, Opal may be in a mood. Used to go to a local Kips late at night. One night the girl that usually served us was not there. A different girl served us and I noticed there was $.12, on the table. The service was unusually poor, when we left there was a total of $.17 on the table. The next time in our old server was there and explained 3 people didn’t show that night, they had an unusually large rush and that was her first night on the floor. I could have been bowled over by a grain of sand.
I hope that wasn’t a tacky hint. That’s disrespectful to assume that your spouse is supposed to wait on you, and definitely not for money. Opal does things for Earl out of love and respect, not because she’s the “help” and has to.
Good points lightenup and serenaskitty.
I can see it now…
Armed with that info, I will now march to my doom, and ignore my wife’s honey-do list.
Then again, maybe I’ll just do it and live. ;)

I hope it’s pocket lint. That service wasn’t worth money.

Right on lightenup. Where is it written that she has to do everything for him?
