This is why i no longer listen to the weather reports. I grew up in the 70’s in the country. We’d get snowed in for 3-4 days at a time, 4 or 5 times per winter. I live in the city now and have only seen businesses close early a couple times in the last 30 years due to weather. All the storms seem overhyped living in the city, though i am sure a few of them would have snowed me in for a couple days if I still lived in the country, but the frequency of those events is greatly reduced.
