Yeah I did that too, but what was really fun was when I got a siren that worked when the cord was pulled to make it rub against the tire. I caused a lot of people to pull off to the side of the road. Don’t remember how long I had it.
My mom sold ours as paper weight at the recycling center circa 1972. But that’s why all the ones remaining have “value” right, all the stories of how they were destroyed?
I kept my Gretzky rookie card (Indianapolis, before he was sold to Edmonton) until needed. Paid for room and board and books for medical school a few years later and even a bit left over. Thanks Wayne.
