I saw a demonstration of a “smart” refrigerator. It would tell what was running low and would ask if you wanted delivery or a printed list so you could shop yourself. I prefer a not so smart one and not have a tore or delivery service know any more about our habit that they already do. “Internet of Everything” also means you.
We bought a new TV recently and found it impossible to to find one that was not a “smart TV.” The one we bought even had “Alexa” built-in. However, one can thwart all that by not connecting it to one’s internet router.
