The best way to open those is a sharp utitlity knife. Just cut all around the outside

I’ve found the can opener on my old Wenger scouting knife works a treat on clamshell packaging.

A good, sharp pair of scissors works, too. Just cut through one edge, across and down one side and it opens enough to get the contents out.

Ah, if I only had that equipment!
