So we aren’t just edging over into, but instead diving head first into Looney Tunes land?

Assuming Friday and Saturday aren’t spent with someone recapping in yet another generic pancake house, this could be a pretty good week in the strip!

Well, what good would it be to be a cartoon if you can’t employ cartoon physics?

You know you’re doing it right when even your worst enemies are impressed.

So, this is what Dilbert’s Pointy Haired Boss (PHB) does on his new job after Mega-Tech downsized him?

I’ve already figured out the best way for Rip to survive this mess. (1) Jump away from the missile once it stops accelerating.(2) Use sky diving techniques to find a relatively soft landing spot (NOT WATER!!!)(3) Spend much of the fall with his body spread out to maximize drag and minimize terminal velocity.(4) Reorient his body, at the last minute, so that he lands on his feet with knees bent.He may not walk again but he has a decent chance of surviving.

KA … air brakes!

Maybe it will deploy a recovery chute.

If you’re going to get defeated, at least be defeated by the best.
