Raise them, teach them to fly and then they are gone. Oh well, they will do it all again next year.
Actually, those little boogers are the center of the parents’ universe. When you’ve got children to take care of, everything you do is tinged with what their needs will be. I was thrilled when my younger son went off to college. :-)
