That’s the spirit Calvin, a positive attitude is 50% the battle… getting the answers correct however is the other 100%.

Remember Calvin dad did show you the easy way, remember you do not get change with math quiz.

I always found learning a new skill was easier after I spent a little effort on “pretending” to enjoy it.

Calvin is too smart (and way to undisciplined) for his own good. This is an arithmetic test and he will be applying advanced group theory (which describes algebras in general and doesn’t care about whether 1+1 =2 or 273).
