Love it! I don’t remember ever seeing a word bubble block out a curse word before. If this is the first usage of it, I can see it becoming widely used. It seems like it would be the obvious way of doing it, but I think cartoonists usually have characters trail off or use ellipses or use gibberish symbols when cursing.
How lucky that Gary came by at just the right moment—or, more precisely, his Speech Balloon. Beatrice, the CLG [Creepy Little Girl, as we first knew her, in case you’re new to the strip], minces no words!
