Yeeouch. I once bellyflopped off a 12-foot high dive into a 14-foot pool in New Jersey. I was trying to dive. In my defense, it was my first time diving.

Summer’s almost over, Wallace is just trying to jam in every adventure he can get.

I have done a belly flop before and I was not nearly as high his stomach is going to be red for a while

belly-smacker……give it a second for the numbness to wear off.

Appreciation for the perspective as drawn in panels 2&3 is achieved once you know the whole story.
