Ah, wonderful! We get our first really close-up view of Porky-Piggy Faced Pomeroy in panel 2, one ugly swine. Nah, why “verify” Monk’s and Little Joe’s deaths’ when the jungle will take care of their disposal? This seems all too much for Pomeroy, after all murder is an exhausting business…… Don’t over-work yourself fatboy!

Why should you care about the two crooks who planned to kill him, you jungle justice fraud?

Oh, it’s just a clever way for Tarzan to bring up the two derelict bad guys. He could have made some sarcastic comment like “you’re aim wasn’t so bad when you shot those two men…”

Of course not, why would I do that? Their lives were meaningless to me…

Tarzan took his best “Atticus Finch” pose and snarled to the jury, “There, ladies and gentlemen, is a FAT man and a BAD man, and he is guilty not only of double homicide, but of COWSLAUGHTER!”

Defense objected, and the judge sustained, but Tarzan had already made his point.

All Pomeroy has to do is approach the animal from behind so he can shoot him in the back. He seems to be good at doing that.

Jane said, now THAT’S the Tarzan I know. I live with this verbal abuse.

Cue music walk down with heavy bass line: Dum dum dum doooooom!

Meanwhile, out in the bushes: Help! I’ve got Blue Cross! A priest…somebody… .

“And have you stopped beating your wife?”

Tarzan needs to take care of the wounded buffalo, then take care of Pomeroy.

Pomeroy resembles a tv and movie character actor from the 1960s, Edward Andrews.
