On this day in history on August 31 1961 A concrete wall replaces the barbed wire fence that separates East and West Germany, it will be called the Berlin wall.
I’ve tried whiskey that’s been aged by throwing a chunk of charred wood in the raw spirits and putting it in a pressure chamber to be squeezed repeatedly for ~40 minutes. It’s pretty good. I see a variation of this process being the future of even the finest scotches.

The Yankees won 4-3. Ruth was 0 for 1 with a walk, but he did have a stolen base.

When I was in the Navy, our joke name for the intergluteal cleft was “plumber’s quals”.

Too bad the production in Scotland still lags behind the demand from off duty police in Oregon!

What’s more important is how many barrels of bourbon are maturing in the US at any given time.

Somebody made a movie called “Buttcrack.” It’s actually pretty funny, about a reluctant zombie.

Meanwhile, local Scots, instead of singing “99 bottles of beer on the wall” are instead singing “18,500,000 barrels of whiskey in the cellar”.

“Intergluteal cleft”? Are you sure it isn’t something like “Insufficient belt tension”?
