I thought I would drop in to say hi before I got busy again. I’m sorry I’m not around, but I’ve had long days recently.

It’s been rainy and cool for far too long. Who order this weather anyways? I want a refund!

I have been running all over today getting things together for our Cinco de Mayo dinner. I got stuck for an hour on the freeway as they had just one lane of southbound traffic. It has been pouring non-stop all day long.

Cinco de Mayo dinner, cleo? And what are you going to have? Is this a tradition of yours? Carmy would have loved that idea!

Both LilG and I are fond of Mexican foods and Mexico and we have a number of friends who feel likewise. We are going to cook up some dried black beans, rice, an orange avocado and red onion salad, and Chipotle Shrimp a spicy hot dish made with a hot smoky chipotle salsa that is cooked until reduced and packs a hot kick. For desert we are having Flan and we will probably have some other goodies as well. If everyone comes there will be nine of us.

That sounds yummy! Especially the hot and spicy stuff!

I thought that would appeal to you Dry!

Dry Canadainas only have finals for elections. I guess I should look to see who is winning.

Right now cleo, I’m on FIRE! I have microwaved an entree of Stouffers Cheddar Baked Potatoes and mixed in my homemade Habanero peppers in my tomato sauce which I froze last summer. YUMMY!

Sounds HOT Dry! I had hot taomato sauce on my pasta tonight, but I doubt it was as hot as yours.

I don’t go to comics kingdom very much, I have enough on my plate with here, comics.com, Creators Syndicate, Daily Ink, and thank heavens Tundra Comics comes out with their whole week on Mondays!

Shika, the Mexicans defeated the French in the Battle of Puebla in an unlikely win so it has become a day of celebration every May 5th.

My page won’t refresh so I don’t know if anyone is here or not, but I am going to pay a visit to my feather pillows, so good night you crazy Locos! Love you all!

We are were watching a movie until LilG’s son called. He has been at sea since I met JFri and is now just getting off his job of being at work everyday for two months.

cleo, I just got home from Las Vegas where I got to shoot fully automatic weapons. Let LilG’s son know that. I’ll bet he gets jealous!

I bet he will too JFri! He will be here this weekend. He has been off the boat for the longest time being one hour in the last two months. He did this long stretch because he can now work on any size boat.

So, where were you that you could shoot these weapons?

How big of a boat has he been on?

His tug was the Natoma and it was 30 meters long and had a maximum speed of 10.3 knots.

The Gun Store in Las Vegas. I got to shoot a German M-40 and Thompson, both of WWII vintage, my daughter shot an AK-47 and an M-16 while my son shot an M-16 and a SAW249.
