Our testing is a mess in the ‘U.K. people are being sent hundreds of miles to get a test but even worse, some of them found there is nobody at the venue doing the tests. Unacceptable. You’ll find it on Google no doubt.

I thought it might make me sneeze ,but barely felt it. The results came back by phone thru a very weird phasing distortion. And that was compounded by a VERY thick accent. Not acceptable.

Kinda reminds me of a Dolcett comic.

I did one locally here in Florida. Awful. It felt like they pierced my brain! It was torturous. I do NOT think it’s necessary to go so far up the nose. And EIGHT days for the results which render it useless. Second test paid for that was sent through the mail and we did ourselves. Easy to do. Mail back. Results in 2 days. But still not acceptable to Germany so…. we finally did one when we arrived in Germany at Frankfurt airport. They swabbed the back of my THROAT. Much easier and results in a couple of hours. THAT’S the way to do this. (I probably could have gotten results faster (in minutes) if I paid for the fast test. THIS was the “regular” test. TWO HOURS – results sent to your phone). Gotta love the Germans. Now we had proof to show the hotels.

I was tested. In through the nose, all the way down to the back of the throat. The nurse told me that it would be very uncomfortable but over very quickly.

She did not lie.

they tried my right nostril, it wouldn’t go as far back as they required, then I remembered why, the sinus on that side is deformed due to microtia atrasia. LOL. So I mentioned it, so up the left nostril it goes!

GEEEZ! No anesthetic? Put me under first!

I’m OK BTW. We have one case on a local First Nation. They have security at the house, no one in or out. The only time in 6 years I was in their store was just after the person that was positive went through. Been very lucky out here

Yep, Paul Trap has hit the nail on the head! I’ve had the test twice, for a procedure which was postponed – and now postponed again so I get to have the test again!! Lovely….

That is exactly how my test felt, except I was in a chair and it was late May, not so much 6’ ing of the medical folks if you’re masked and holding your breath. I swear he got brain cells in the sample!!

The dipstick on my truck doesn’t even go that far…

Look up mummification. Because that’s what it is. THAT’S WHAT IT IS.
