My local small town barber shop has a lending library. Mostly paperbacks, but some hard covers too that customers have brought in. You can pick one or several off the shelf and bring them or others back when you wish. Only stipulation is no risque material allowed.

I don’t need a barber. I’ve got electric clippers. Haven’t been to a barber shop in 22 years.
