It could’ve been worse.
A person I know whose first language was not English wrote “he was so not ugly”.
I just love the way that Jerry drew his characters , Fester with that cigarette hanging out of his mouth is a " scream " for sure , and I really did know a person that looked like him and Rabbit for that matter too : )
I’m a long time patron of dive bars. I’ve been in rural taverns filled with bikers where I was certain I’d be killed. I still wouldn’t go to Rabbits.
