I bet Paris and Otto can relate in one way or another.

Pandemic.

What summer? It didn’t feel like we had one.

Great point Lio, you should also point out tot he teacher that it looks like Otto and Paris are closer than 6 feet from you!

Same thing I do every summer, work.

I think Lio can write about how he watched his Dad go on a few extended benders if I remember a few of the strips showing Dad over the past few months…..

As they used to say about some contestants on the old “Match Game” (the one with Gene Rayburn), Lio’s too smart for the room!

What did I do this summer? (As we know, autumn isn’t HERE yet…..) I helped to save the lives of a bunch of complete strangers by staying at home as much as I could, and wearing a mask and socially distancing when I couldn’t. It’s true that millions of other people did this—but not ENOUGH.

Me? Well, weekends were spent caring for my 101-year-old mom. She passed peacefully the end of August.

I would figure that Lio would sit next to Eva Rose.

I read Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, The Old Curiosity Shop, Nicholas Nickleby, and Barnaby Rudge. I’m going through the cannon a second time. I should be done in another 2 years if I live that long.
