The drunk driver that damn near killed me when I was on my motorcycle, had had previous DUI’s. She was driving without a license or insurance in a borrowed car!!

I don’t want to sound violent but drunk drivers should just be shot on sight. I know that is not realistic but so many people have lost loved ones or even their own lives because of these idiots. It is a good thing that I am not a judge because anyone trying to use being drunk as an excuse for ANYTHING would automatically have their sentence doubled or tripled. I have no tolerance at all for that.

I always wondered what had happened to Gracie and Baldo’s mother.

In Australia, judging by the ridiculous sentences handed down every bloody week our judges and magistrstes must think drunk, drugged and dangerous (read stupid and idiotic) driving is not much above a misdemeanour. Killing or injuring someone with a motor vehicle should be regarded in the same light as using a gun or other weapon. Then you take i to account whether it was a genuine accident and all the other circumstances, including the offender’s history, to arrive at an appropriate sentence that MEETS COMMUNITY EXPECTATIONS. I’ve often said the best way to guarantee a long sentence is to scratch the paintwork of a judge’s chauffeur driven limousine. THEN you’ll see some decent sentences handed down.And double sentences for any lefty, greeny, tax sucking, give me everything but don’t expect anything back clowns. (Only half joking!!!!)
