Aha! So that’s what’s wrong with our education system.
It’s hard to learn about yummy treats when you don’t get any!
Grade six.
First French lesson ever.
Madame walked in with a bag of candy. She walked up to each student and said “manger”, which means “to eat” in French.
Every kid that opened their mouth got candy.
And there began my love of the French language. :))
Madame was an excellent teacher.
With the common core curriculum, they barely have time for anything….they’re too busy learning how to take a test…..BOO HISS
Thanks for the butterfly, Brian.
Some of us teachers actually did employ the treat as a reward system on occasion.
Hopefully, the kids today in virtual school aren’t sitting there with a bowl of M&M’s next to their keyboard.
So glad to finally be beyond watermelon seeds.
Sorry to hear that, Red.
Rover is becoming a scholar, lol!
The guy that taught Physics at my high school was crazy, but his class was fun. And, he threw peppermint candy at you for answering questions correctly.
Yummy treats as incentive, hmmm …
In an in-person class, I brought treats on the first day. Got the bribe out of the way early.
