All I can say is that I live where there is way too much Light-Pollution. I can see the moon and maybe a half dozen stars and that is all…..Sigh….. I remember being out to sea at night, (I’m ex-U.S. Navy), and the night sky would be glorious to behold indeed.

Full moon and clear sky tonight, and I was well away from the thicker parts of the city. Was really hoping to see a few wild animals.
All I got was one solitary bat.

Beautiful full moon tonight. Wish I had some garbage to take out. Guess I’ll have to stand out there anyway, forlorn and empty-handed. {^¿^}

You’re lucky there’s no light pollution and it isn’t overcast.

What is Jimbo thankful for on cold, windy, rainy nights?
