I hope that the dog does a good job on walking the kid. All children need their exercise. And it is a dog’s job to be sure that they get it.
I had a dog some years ago that, if another of my dogs had a squeaky toy, would take it, destroy the squeaker, then drop the toy and leave. I guess Colonel didn’t like them so much. :)

We used to have a neighbor who had a Doberman; whenever he took the Dobie out, the Dobie carried a large rock in its mouth.
