BD and Boopsie are a little weird , but Duke is a crock .

I’ll find out what happens over the ensuing weeks, but I don’t expect Zonker or BD to fall for it.

It seems to me like moving a kid from California to wherever it is that Duke is (somewhere in the Northwest?) and then faking whatever paperwork would be necessary to deceive the government into thinking she’s an orphan just to fill one more bed and scam a few more dollars would be WAY more trouble than it’s worth. Duke CAN’T have run out of genuine orphans already. Oh well, I suppose we’ll see.

Of course, nowadays, taking children away from their parents and putting them in government-operated “care centers” has even darker undertones than it did before…

I suspect if Duke gets “Little Orphan Sammy” up there he’ll need his place in the Caribbean to recover.

I thought duke was getting orphans form the government.

I doubt we would see the follow up strip….if there was one…but I could be wrong

All of which are better than being raised by Uncle Duke.

Well, the two girls, born of this strip turned out fine. How are the twins of the current generation doing? We haven’t seen them in a while.

Duke does Not want Sam at his place. She’s 10 times smarter than he will ever be.
