It’s called watching the world go by. My dad used to do it in his rocker on the front porch smoking his pipe – just watching the world go by. Mom and Grandma would sit in the big yellow glider and watch the world go by. At that time my brother and I didn’t understand why we had to just sit and behave; but now I sure do.
