    Kinda sums up my opinion of all the “feel good” pablum our kids are force fed in schools around here.

    An apple can never be an orange and sometimes it sucks to admit you won’t be the best (or even good) at something you love to do.

    It’s better to learn to be ok with what you are rather than be fooled into believing you can be something you’re not.

    When we lived in a small apartment, my 2 brothers had a bunkbed and I had a twin in a tiny bedroom with a window. My youngest brother was “Zooperman” and thought he could fly. He jumped off the top bunk onto the twin and into the window. (There was just enough room to walk between the beds.) Love to razz him about that.
