@RCMinor, hope springs eternal–especially in the Easter season. And we’ve gotta have hope this week: gocomics updated with the new strip on Monday! Right when it was supposed to happen. (Now there are only about 1/4 of the others that were skipped….)
Less an imaginary friend than an old friend of the family, who was such a good guy that he’ll be remembered long after we’re dust. He’d have no detractors if people wouldn’t have forced their will on others in his name, but now we’ll have them always, too. That’s why it’s on his top 10 no-nos list. Jesus loves trolls & atheists, too.
I don’t Tweet on Twitter, but probably you could find someone claiming to be speaking for Jesus, or maybe even to be Jesus.
If someone claimed they had a new message from God, is there any chance you would believe them? I always wonder…. is it possible we have locked up a person or two delivering a message from God because they were ‘insane’?
For us church I go to has gone on line from the Internet. I go to first service and will go on-line to hear the 2nd one to see how closely related. I don’t care for the 2nd service music but sermon is always great. Pastor is on face book but too many are on there. He is very God oriented and family with one adopted boy and 3 boys by his very loving wife.
For us, since we develop community by receiving the sacraments, on-line church would not make much sense. We do have televised and radio masses, and could as easily have on-line ones–but only for the shut-ins who cannot be there in person.

It’s a two way (s)tweet.

@wizodd, but God give me not only a promise of eternal life, and a life better than I can imagine–God also starts that life already here on earth.
That makes it more than “blind” faith, of course.

^He lived to show us the way. He died for politics. No god worthy of worship accepts human sacrifice. Heretics love Jesus, too.

I’m sure it has happened, but maybe out of fear of the truth being put in front of us. Just sayin’.
