I bet Lila has way more fun than those other women she works with. I am guess ing she is the one that gets the door held open for her and help with the heavy stuff if she wants to move something. Drinks after work. She naver pays for anything. I was Lila. A smile and a thank you goes a long ways. I am so glad I am retired and do not have to work in today’s world. It would not be any fun!
Like the definition says, the behavior has to be “unwanted”. Okay, so Lila’s a flirt and a bit of an airhead, but if she enjoys being complimented on her looks, who is HR to complain?
Some women may not feel comfortable complaining & could be empowered by the others standing up for her. Some are just pissy because she’s the one getting attention.
