When I was in high school we had an Irish Wolfhound that snatched a whole roast beef off the kitchen counter. It was right at eye level and obviously too hard to resist!

Never ever saw a dog that would share what he spirited off a table.

Years ago, a GF dropped a still-sizzling pork chop onta the linoleum and her dawg instantly grabbed it.. He let GO of it even faster and yipped and howled and bounced offa walls for quite a while. One of life’s movies in my head… ♥

I remember when one of my brothers was BBQing steaks in his backyard and dropped one on the ground. I didn’t think he could move that fast!
