When I was in high school we had an Irish Wolfhound that snatched a whole roast beef off the kitchen counter. It was right at eye level and obviously too hard to resist!
Years ago, a GF dropped a still-sizzling pork chop onta the linoleum and her dawg instantly grabbed it.. He let GO of it even faster and yipped and howled and bounced offa walls for quite a while. One of life’s movies in my head… ♥
