This “cartoon” reminds me of the speech someone gave at the republican National Convention about “Biden’s America” while showing a video clip of a riot and fire. The video clip was stock footage of a riot last year in Barcelona (Spain, in case you didn’t know). Fox has also shown videos and photos of rioting and looting which turned out to be from other countries. Well, we never expect republicans (including Varvel) to tell the truth.
If rioting is Biden’s albatross, then why does he NOT support de-funding the police? And how will things get worse when he’s in office. Conversely, if Trump is re-elected, how will things get better? Usually, when presidents run for re-election, they point to their positive impact. But Trump has no positive impact on social unrest.
Biden isn’t president yet, Varvel. Can’t put Trump’s albatross around his neck, especially since many of them are Right Wing agitators trying to make BLM look bad.
Gary when your party comes out and says “The more chaos and anarchy and vandalism and violence reigns, the better it is…” you are not the “Law and Order” people. You are evil.
Republicans HAVE to lie and cheat in any way they can. When people are given a choice of two statements on issues that actually affect their everyday life, one that describes the Republican position and the other the Democrat’s, the Democratic position is chosen by about 85% of Democrats and Independents. No surprise there. The weird part is that just under half of Republicans also choose Democrat positions, unless they are told which position is supported by each party. Then they fall into line and choose the Republican option- 78% of the time. So, it is entirely reasonable for Republicans to lie a lot. The people running the Republican party are in that half of the Republicans who actually believe in Republican positions. They are roughly 25% of the voting public. They have no chance of ever winning a national election unless they keep as many people as possible from voting and keep the rest of them confused enough to vote against their own best interests.
