I never understood why my dad wouldn’t bump shopping carts out of his way until I discovered how easily damaged cars were. But I suspect the chrome bumpers on his ’56 Chevy would been fine.

Once again, a little under 10 years ago, Richard posted a blog entry regarding this strip:

    http://richardspooralmanac.blogspot.com/2010/11/todays-cul-de-sac-november-14-2010-and.html

    https://www.gocomics.com/culdesac/2020/04/18?comments=visible

is the prior time the referenced strip has run (no other blog entry for that one).

Remain firm, Peter! We owners of smaller-than-average cars must remain strong in the face of the mocking voices of the Alices of the world. Our cars are not toys!

Dill’s brothers are talented structural engineers, but they really gotta rethink that elevated final dropoff into leaves?

Let’s hope the Armed Forces don’t have Dill’s brothers join them-who knows what destruction they’re capable of with military weapons!

Can I try it with my souped up, tricked out, off-road Tundra? She loves leaf piles.
